Your Haar is a little underdeveloped. By that point in the game he should be maxed or a few levels away from it. My Haar is a level 7 dragonlord and I've only just started Part IV chapter 1. but yeah I know what you mean about those ranged tomes being a pain in the ass. I didnt know what the restore tomes did the first time around and mages with sleep staffs pissed me off so bad. not so much this time though. Yeah the recruitment was really fun in the last game. The only guys worth recruiting in this one come so late in the game that its almost pointless. I've never seen that much BEXP. thats insane!!! I thought I was being conservative with mine and I only had like 40,000. I guess you could pump Haar or anyone else who was a few levels behind probably to maximum. geez.

Sleep staves are annoying in all Fire Emblem games though Berserk ones are worse.

And yeah, on my first playthrough I hardly spent any BEXP until just before the endgame. I only used it for maybe the last 2-3 levels of each character's tier so I had a ton of it too.

Yeah, I don't know how I got so much BEXP. I didn't kill the senators and I saved all minus one house etc. But on some levels I recieved 10.000+ BEXP without knowing why.

I didn't really use any BEXP though. Only on Micaiah before 4-Endgame, because she was only light sage level 14, so I boosted her before the endgame.

It's pretty useless to not use BEXP, but I want to see if I can max out everyone by playing the game alone. Although some levels I deliberitaly didn't kill people for the BEXP, which of course cost me EXP.

Any tips for 4-4? Played for an hour, then got 3 reinforcements in one turn sandwiching my party. I wonder if reinforcements come at specific turns or after you kill certain group of enemies.

The reinforcements do come on specific turns. My advice for that level is to get the stair case cleared out as soon as humanly possible and get all your units passed that point and set up a blockade in that area. You havnt seen exactly how many reinforcements start coming yet I take it. It gets massive. Its helpful to keep a small team with good movement in the bottom right area for when the ranged mages appear. other than that just blockade the stairs until they finally stop coming.

EDIT: Make sure to loot all the chests in this mission too. Lots of really helpful items.

After you clear the game once you get to unlock the bonus EXP screen. It shows you what you did to calculate all the BEXP after each level. Its really neat. If you ended the mission early, or have surviving units, or what allied units gained for EXP you collect and other stuff like that. I dunno why its an unlockable though. Shouldnt be any reason its in the game normally.

I had Shinon and Rolf blocking the 2 squares that are the only way up to the platform. Since you're higher you'll never get hit and you can just kill everyone very easily.

I had Boyd, Oscar and Haar attacking the reinforcements that come from the left with Mist behind it to heal Boyd (he's pretty sensitive to arrows). Meanwhile Ike, Titania, Muarim and Soren attacked the "North" (if they were not asleep, I hate "sleep" rods). Rhys woke em up most of the turns and unlocked the chests.

I left Tormod and his people along with one other character just in case reinforcements came (plus I don't like Tormod's group's availability).  They easily cleaned up the few enemies that came through.

I don't recommend using Tormod or anyone with them.  Waste of space really.

Whats everyones favorite mission.

I love the one where you get to burn the supplies and round up the senators. Tons of fun.

I liked 3-13 Blood Contract.

Speaking of which, did anyone else pick the "yes" option during that part?

Erm?  Yes option?

I had Micaiah do it, if that's what you mean.
