I dont mean like Sapphire/Ruby different as that doesnt count as really different. Im more talking like FE Fatez which both games had been completely different from 1 another.

By dramatic ally i mean if normally you predicted 12mil sales it would now change to 16mil because this time there would actually be reasons to double dip!

I honestly doubt it, since most casual Pokemon fans will still only want to buy one version anyways.

Heck, if they were to do something like that for Pokemon, unless they do a special edition like with Fire Emblem, I would still only buy one version myself.

What allowed FE fates to do this was the fact that the story wasn't as flat as a board like Pokemon. I doubt pokemon fans would want 2 different games at once with the same story premise. Kind of counter intuitive.

The story would still be ass, so who would care?

^Yeah, the story should be epic and I don't see them pulling that off.

Doubt it will affect sales that much but I will actually preffer this than having only a couple of pokemon as the only difference between them.

It'd be cool if the two games had completely different gym leaders and happened in different regions all together, only linking till the very end. But no.

If it's the same region maybe it'd belogical to keep the same gym leaders but maybe you can battle them in different order and the games could have different starting points, different routes, basically different way to explore the whole region and in consequence, different events you can get involved in. 

Story is ass in FE and we all know Fates sales lol

 It's probably Shakespeare compared to XY.

I think more people would buy both.
