If Pokemon SunMoon Followed FE Fates Formula, Would It Dramatically Change in Sales?

I wouldn't really want different regions (only because I think them making 2 rather than focusing on 1 would probably end up with 2 half size regions instead of 1 full one), but having different gym leaders would be awesome!

If it's the same region maybe it'd belogical to keep the same gym leaders but maybe you can battle them in different order and the games could have different starting points, different routes, basically different way to explore the whole region and in consequence, different events you can get involved in.
