I don't know what's their marketing plan but surely it can do over 50k FW?! The series was pretty big on the PS2 and since the remake has been doing better than any other Ratchet in most markets I would think Japan might follow suit if they market it right.

I dunno, looking at Japan sales for the past few entries, it looks pretty grim (though only using VGC numbers. If anyone has a GAF account and want to check their archive for the first week sales of ACiT and ToD, please do!).

And the remake did between 207.5k (highest selling Ratchet game) and 237k.

Japan usually responds well to nostalgia so there's certainly potential there.
