I don't know who the hell to believe, but I DO know that all that is out there is DEV KITS, so specs are not final, some things are bound to change for the final iteration of the NX, which means neither Emily Rogers nor 10k will be correct.

That's 10k's Twitter. Proven himself to be full of shit.stop giving him attention.

Because it's common sense and because rumors by people who literally have the thing says it does and because pretty much every patent filed by Nintendo since 2014 has used a screen for the controller and because Iwata literally said that they were going to take advantage of what they've done with the Wii U. And there's no if. There will be no cards. Unlike the screen where there is overwhelming evidence supporting their return, and digital only where there is overwhelming evidence supporting it coming, there is literally nothing supporting cards.

It's common sense because Nintendo now has 3 devices in its legacy with a second screen, and have expressed tangible interest in preserving them through emulation. If they don't have a controller with a second screen, preserving three of their legacy platforms will be an impossibility in the future. Even if the NX wasn't backwards compatible, they aren't going to lock themselves out of the possibility of ever emulating DS, 3DS, and Wii U games in the future, especially when the only home platform that had a second screen barely sold and didn't sell the screen separately.

And the gamepad's streaming is impeccable. There's nothing less reliable about it.

The sad thing is that "region free" makes this rumor particularly unbelievable.
