It will still sell 20 million though :-3

One of the thingsothers have alluded to is that there area ton of people who exizt just to hate COD. They don't even play COD and they don't like that so many people still make it number one.
The more successful you are the more hate you get. Sometimes it is deserved and sometimes it is just hate.

It's more like they ran out of ideas. As I have said in the Youtube comments, whenever a media franchise ends up going to space, it usually means the creators ran out of ideas. What happened to Jason Voorhees? He went to Space. What happened to James Bond in the late 70's? He went to space. What happened to the Dino Crisis series? It went to space. Space is the last refuge for a fatigued creative mind. I think Activision will eventually have to bite the bullet and stop doing yearly releases of Call of Duty. Ubisift made the hard choice not to release an Assassins Creed game this year and it was for the best. It is time for Activision to do the same.

Well there are only so many places they can go with it. Im guessing next will be on an alien planet way in the future.
I thought the COD Infinite Warfare trailer was the most interesting looking COD game in a long time.
It's just a bunch of internet nerds like us, who think it's cool to hate any mainstream franchise. Regular people will buy it as always and even a good portion of the people responsible for that huge dislike bar will also buy it.
Gamers don't bitch about everything. Internet nerds do, but nobody cares about us in reality.

"...new, innovative experiences in the game each year." Isn't that a bit of an oxymoron? I'm unsure how much innovation can be packaged into a yearly release, even if three different developers are doing the packaging.
But, you know what, Activision is unfortunately right about one thing: consumers will bitch and moan and then fork over money for pre-order bonuses and season passes anyway. Until we as consumers start voting with our wallets nothing will ever change.
how about you stop forcing us to buy the new game for 80€ to get the remaster ?
