So that site make a comical purpose review and give 4/10. Metacritic add this and the metascore goes down but also that site has give before a normal review 4/4
why we care about metacritic score again?

I'm glad that review was posted because it works a bit like a reality check to a lot of fans who have allowed themselves to get completely carried away.

Fan allowed themselves to get completely carried away by what?
If anything it's a reality check to how absurd people labelled as "professional" can be.
If people forgot that yeah, it's a reality check.

Carried away by the hype. The hype telling that this game is sent from God. Some fans act as if everybody must share the opinion that Uncharted is a great game series.

So you think it's unprofessional to think that Uncharted is a mediocre game? I don't think that's fair. He even explained why he thinks the game is mediocre.

I think he brought up an important point about Uncharted and Naughty Dog, something I myself think is a huge problem in gaming. Namely that some games ride on their superb visuals and presentation, which masks the quality of the story (and masks other things, such as the quality of gameplay, but this review didn't address that very much).

So what was the reality check? First, it's that there actually are legitimate, professional people that have a different opinion, and second, that you have to look beyond the amazing visuals in order to determine the quality of a game and a story.

I don't think the review was good, he could definitely have expressed his points better and gone in depth of what he thinks is wrong with Uncharted's story and storytelling. But the motivation was not to troll. To seek attention, definitely yes, he knew that would come, but his main driver I think was to come off as sophisticated, like a movie reviewer sophisticated, and to come off as edgy.

HAHAH the guy who gave it a 4 is legit a joke. He seriously can't be a person who actually thinks he does any sort of real reviewing. He apparently did a Bloodborne review from a youtube video of other people playing the game. I can't believe this guy ever getting money to just troll.

I'm sorry but if you're trying to defend this guy you're as much of a joke as him. He legit reviewed a game by watching a video on youtube instead of playing it.

When a game's Meta is 94 and it receives what appears to be a satire review of 4/10, the only reality that exists is that something is bogus. On top of that, you know that I usually respect what you say (as a long time friend of mine), but a lot of what you've been doing to this game would have worked against other people on the site. Lay off, a bit. ;)

Good old friend, I don't quite get the last sentence and what you accuse me of. I do not troll Uncharted and I do not criticize it to rile up Sony fans.

I criticize it because it's the prime example of many things I think are wrong with modern gaming, and the higher reviews it gets, the more reason there is to bring the discussion up.

Sony fans aren't any more sensitive than any other people. These things must be able to be discussed in a civilized manner on a gaming forum I think.

It would be so if the review actually carried even a tiny bit of professionalism in it. It's a completely baffling and greatly questionable piece of writing. A "review" article meant not to criticize but to hate. There's a great difference between the two.

Yeah, it's questionable, I agree with that. Not a good review. But it still had points that I was happy about,  namely the point that some games unofrtunately often ride on their superb visuals and presentation, which masks the quality of the story and other things. People are wowed by the visuals and perhaps don't evaluate the game as they would have had they not been wowed.
