Perhaps there's a corrolation between these insane deals and the recent deluge of MS leaks. Clearing out stock ready for new consoles isn't beyond the realm of possibility.

All those Xbox One's bundles that charted from the deepds of Amazon's rankings have  the 5 Games + Gift + Controller promotion ?.

So with the recent rumor of a $175 xb1 slim; how do you guys think it would fair against a ps4 or ps4 neo in the US if it comes true.

I mistook the price on the slim earlier.

The 175$ model is actually a Xbox TV mini console (its weaker than the Xbox One is).

And has limited capabilitys compaired to the current Xbox One.

I have no idea how a TV stick type console for Xbox will do.

The slim version of the normal xbox one, should do fine (atleast simularly to how the current one is doing).

So the future of xbox looks like this:

1) Xbox TV stick (doesnt play games)

2) Xbox TV mini console (plays tiny non demanding games)

3) Xbox One  /   Xbox One Slim version

4) Xbox One ii (the one-two) (rumored to be 5-6 teraflops) (probably 500$+)

5) Xbox Software for your PC (if your pc is above Xbox One specs) (you wont need a xbox anymore to play all their games)

^ MS need to take along time to really communicate clearly how each of these things is differnt from one another, and exactly what they are and do, or your gonna end up with one very confused consumer.

Depends on if the ridiculous Scorpio reveal date rumor is true. If Microsoft reveals their version of the Neo at this E3 then the Xbox One Slim is DOA.

MS isn't that stupid to announce a cheap Xbox one this year and announce one that's really powerful to come out next year.

I fully agree, but that's what the rumors say and Microsoft has done some extremely dumb shit in the past, such as the entire Xbox One reveal and the original Xbox One's plans, and even being dumb enough to launch the XB1 with a mandatory purchase of the Kinect.

Yeah the reveal up tp the launch of the xb1 was a huge mess. But with Phill in charge and the change in the direction the brand is going i doubt something like that would happen.

I Think that they don't have much to lose announcing the Xbox Two, Scorpion, at E3. They already are down YOY on USA and with Gribble's last source they have a 15%+ drop on UK their 2 biggest markets so they have a even greater drop in other countries.

I Don't think that a Even more powerful Xbox One will make people start to buy it, the console would be more expensive and would have the same games, A Slim version would sell more because is Cheaper or would atleast flat the drop, and i don't think that a Xbox for TV Only will do something for the sales.

Seriously Amazon must be thinking its time to get rid of Xbox One stock.

Surprised the PS4 BO3 bundle is back to being the highest ranked.

If not even 200+ US$ in Gift the Xbox One can mantain the lead over the PS4 so there is nothing Microsoft can do to sell more Xbox One, now is too late to start developing games, they canceled Fable, and aren't even trying to make Xbox One Exclusives.
