Just something that popped in mind. Zelda skyward Sword has sold 4.09 million units thus far. We know that the next LoZ game will launch on NX and on Wii U so the Wii U versions sales will probably be lower now. But the Wii U has an amazing attach rate, Even a brand new IP like splatoon has sold over 4ml so an established up like Zelda might be able to. 

What do you think?

The Wii U version? No. The GC version of TLP didn't break 2 million. It might on the NX but if they launch at the same time or if the Wii U version is late there's no chance. Nintendo wouldn't release the Wii U version first either because it would hurt the NX launch.

Wii U been the core Nintendo fans and they will likely get the NX and the NX version.

Nope, specially when the NX will probably be the version Nintendo pushes the most, plus will be the one on a new system (if you're going to buy a NX day one, why not just get the NX version?).

No. It'll probably get somewhere around half as many sales as Skyward Sword, just like TP on GCN.

No, and only because the NX version will exist. Basically...do I want the most updated, most optimized version or the one for Wii U? I'll take the NX one and that's how a lot of people will respond. Much like TP Wii vs. GC.
