Think again - from that "other place"

Nintendo changes its approach to the show every year. This June, Nintendo will focus its attentions on the upcoming game in The Legend of Zelda series. The Wii U version of the game will be playable for the first time on the E3 show floor, and it will be the only playable game Nintendo presents at the show, in order to provide attendees a complete immersion. Additional information about Nintendo’s E3 plans will be announced in the future.

Oh, my God, what is going on?Only Zelda U? Is that all they are going to show? They must have other things for the WiiU/3DS, even if they have to bring every unreleased japanesed title to the West. Something, one game on the show is laughable, even if it is Zelda U.

No way, that can't be true surely. They have a new console launching in spring and they're not having any playable demo's for it?!?!?!? They have basically no currently announced holiday lineup and there's not gonna be any playable demo's of WiiU titles that may launch this year?!?!?!

What the hell is going on at Nintendo.

Probably planning to have their own event at a later date (hurrah months more of pointless speculation).

Honestly, I have no idea what Nintendo is doing and what is the the point of them even attending E3 if that is how they're going to approach it this year.

Well, at least now the rumors of NX having a Zen+Polaris combo at 14nm are more likely .

This is good news for Sony and Microsoft during the holiday quarter. Especially Sony with PSVR and Neo.

Did everyone watch my 9 second video I posted earlier on this thread? Kinda hoping it goes viral. Maybe I'll just move it to the OP.

Yeah... potential holiday lineups....

Sony:

PlayStation 4 NEO?
PSVR
Gran Turismo Sport
Horizon (rumoured delayed)
Gravity Rush 2
Dreams
Hellblade
Persona 5

Microsoft:

XBO Slim?
Gears of War 4
Forza Horizon 3
Halo Wars 2
Sea of Thieves
Recore

Nintendo:
Paper Mario Color Splash

With Handhelds Nintendo also has Pokemon, Dragon Quest and Metroid Federation Force but it's not exactly great is it....

Nintendo won't leave their holiday with nothing.
It could mean more unannounced games coming to the Wii U and maybe the 3DS.

But if that is true........ WTF ARE THEY DOING!

Well...... When is e3 again?

None of Nintendos heavy hitters have launched in the November/December timeframe. They've either been from May to October.  May seems to be their sweet spot. They stay clear of holiday season releases against Sony, Microsoft and key third party. Some have said the NX has two parts and one is launching this year and the primary home console will launch next year. This game is definitely going to enjoy the better treatment on the NX, so people might as well wait for the multiplat launch on the NX and Wii U.

You're forgetting a tonne of games such as Final Fantasy XV, FIFA 17, Mass Effect Andromeda, COD 2016, Titanfall 2 etc.

Andromeda got delayed to Q1 2017.
