This won't be a Guitar Hero III success, but I believe this will be a large success for the Wii, at least to justify a non-gimped Rock Band 2.

Well I think it was mentioned that the Wii port was based on the PS2 port at least it is being done by the same studio. Until more details surface I guess we have to assume that it is exactly the same PS2 game (except for the extra songs).
"¿Por qué justo a mí tenía que tocarme ser yo?"
Fair reasoning Venepe.
They should realise that this is bad and fix it for Rock Band 2, like they're fixing Smackdown 2009 for Wii after the terrible Smackdown 2008.

First parties tend to implement ANY new feature on their console first, especially Nintendo, who won't even let third parties use the Miis yet (may have changed within the past few months without my noticing). |
I have Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, and that uses mii's. Came out in November I believe.
Well, it seems downloadable songs on the Wii is very much possible, thank you:

Now we know exactly who to blame for the crappy port Wii owners are going to get... Harmonix and EA!

No, the best DLC of this generation will be the extra content for GTA4 on the 360. Also, expect the next rockband to have DLC for the Wii. This was a Johny-come-lately port and miracle in itself that it actually made it to the Wii. Perhaps if it had done better on the consoles which you brag up this divine DLC for it wouldn't need to be ported to the PS2 and Wii after the fact. |
uh...yeah...well, when that GTA DLC is even announced then you let me know what it is. Meanwhile, Rock Band on 360 and PS3 gets new songs every week, including 6 this week and many others. You can tell me what "will be" all you want, but the best DLC right now is Rock Band. It's proving very profitable for both videogames and the music industry. I'm not sure you are getting what is going on here. 6 million songs sold so far. The content and user-base grows every week. There might not even be a Rock Band 2 for a very long time. This is not Guitar Hero. There will not be 4 new versions of the game this year. Rock Band is committed to DLC. It was obvious that Rock Band would end up on the Wii because it needs to be on all consoles. This is not some "miracle," it's a way to spread the brand and get more money. It does not "need" to be ported to the Wii. It's already very successful. DLC is not included on the Wii version most likely because of restrictions from Nintendo, whether that be direct or an indirect cause of there not being enough space to store a music collection because there is no hard drive. But hey, you go ahead and "support" the game and deprive yourself of the best part. You will no doubt enjoy the game because it's a great experience, but the best part is finding out what new songs you can download every week. No one with a 360 or PS3 would buy the Wii version, unless they own Nintendo Stock or something.
Then how come WiiWare's Karaoke game has DLC, and lots of it?

i really want this game but there is no DLC i dont know what to do

Isn't DLC kind of like saying "Well, you just paid for your game, and it's not finished/the full thing. Now buy this". Patches for PC games annoy me for the same reason. When I buy a game I expect it to be the full thing.
