I've just started it and, after all the critics about the controls, graphics, etc., I have to say that I'm compeltely in love with the game and the controls. First of all, it is not mandatory to use motion controls while using the Arwing, nor is it to constantly use the Gamepad Screen to aim: you can just ignore motion controls and the Gamepad Screen and just focus on aiming with the joystick while only looking at the TV. At first takes a little practice but after 10 - 15 minutes you have already learn how to be very precise with your shoots. You will quickly find, however, that combining the joystick with motion controls and ocasional glimpses to the Gamepad screen is the best and easier option to destroy Andros's units, and getting use to this scheme will come naturally and almost intuitively. So ignore the noise about the game and give it a try: it only took me 10 minutes to figure how the controlls work and 25 to get used to them and decide what's my preferred method (which is looking at the TV for the most part and aiming via motion controlls, with very little glimpses at the gamepad screen).
