Always retail, except for games who are only digital, and very very good offers.

Haha same here. I don't intend to sell anything at the moment, but I know if I sold everything right now, I would make a profit on almost every single game.

Bought GTA V new for 16.50€, Price has been rising up to 44€ recently.
Halo MCC for 17.50€, now cheapest online price is 34.50€
MGS V for 11€, cheapest online price is 26€

Could selll my X1/PS4/Wii U games now and have enough for NX and a few games later this year :P The advantage of physical = Free NX

Yup, physical purchases give you options. Last year I even borrowed a few games. You can't do that with digital

I buy physical copies most of the time.

Digital gaming is a lot more expensive overall. Same launch price as physical copies but prices won't drop to match the prices of the physical copies. There's data caps that some people have to deal with. More importantly, you can't trade in or resell digital copies. All you really get from digital is convenience.

No wonder why some video game companies are pushing gamers towards digital so much.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Since physical Nintendo games are usually unobtainable in Israel (If they are they're expensive), I download them digitally despite the risk. Occasionally I come across a cheaper alternative online and order accordingly.

For Sony/MS I look for good deals online.

PC's just Steam lol.

Digital store on consoles suck since they rarely have good deals so physical it is there plus you don't have to download which saves a ton of space and you don't have to deal with slow internet speeds either ...

On PC, digital is the way to go ...

That's absolutely false.

The polling results here seem to disagree with you ...

I never buy games at retail. Retail is a huge waste of money for something that can break. Also, digital has much better and more frequent sales.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
