Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Star Fox Zero Review Thread: MC: 69 / GR: 68.84%

Before all the reviews come in I'll say it will get a 77-83. Some will complain about how short it is even though it's starfox :P

Pros: Great level variety, perfect difficulty, fast tempo, high replay value, wonderful music, pleasant environmental design, a host of extra content to unlock, fun bosses

Cons: Frustrating controls, short, primitive graphics (what we were pointing objectively)

Edit: 7/10

With the controll issues, the graphics and the short gameplay time (not counting replay value).
I have a hard time imagineing this is getting anywhere close to 80 score.

Eurogamer

"Star Fox Zero isn't quite a remake, then, but it most definitely feels like a reunion, where heart-warming bursts of nostalgia and shared memories occasionally give way to bouts of awkward shuffling. It's enjoyable enough, and if you've any affection for Star Fox 64 it's worth showing up, but there'll definitely be moments where you wish you were elsewhere."

Mixed response it is! Nothing that I didn't expect, but I still think it could be on the 70 metascore. I'd lower my prediction to high 60s, but it's late for that :(. Well, I'm hear to eat my crow and move on to enjoy the game! :P

Surprised that Gamespot gave it a 7 XD. I expected way less.

Giant Bomb did throw a Bomb indeed.

I hate the fact that it is those types of reviews that is hurting the Méta score of a game ....

Giant Bomb always drop the bomb! haha. They did it with Quantum Break too!
