Wow. I never thought I'd say this, but I might be skipping my most anticipated game EVER: Mario Kart Wii. No 2 player grand prix? ALL other versions had 2 splitscreen grand prix, even the SNES and the GBA versions! It's the mode I play the most and for me, is the core of the game.
No splitscreen grand prix = no buy for me. I'm REALLY disappointed Nintendo.

because in vs. mode there aren't any other karts besides the players right? theres no computer karts. unless thats only for 3 and 4 player. but also cuz then you can't compete in full cups. with like keeping the score and everything. i mostly do all cup two player. it wouldn't be nearly as fun if we just individually did all the courses and it wasn't an actual competition but just individual races. i don't understand why they would take something like that out. i was hoping they'd expand the grand prix to 4 players.

Damn, yo... I was never a Mario Kart fan, but the game sounds terrible right about now.
No two player grand prix and no free-for-all battle mode is just crazy.

No, IGN is just stupid. If you listen to the podcast, they're assertion that "no way it's coming to wii" is based entirely off of the graphics of the leaked screenshots. They just say "There's no way the wii can put out those graphics". That's it, that's all their info is based on. The topic on VGchartz has as much credibility as they do on the speculation. Personally, I would trust the guy that leaked the info over those buffoons.
