Forums - Sony - Do you have a PSTV? Are you enjoying it?

How many of you guys have a PSTV, and are you enjoying it?

As one of Sony's endeavours, the PSTV failed.  Plain and simple.  But I'm enjoying it as a big screen VITA.  Currently, I'm playing Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 on the PSTV on a 55" screen which here in North America the game is NOT PSTV compatible.  But I used the whitelist hack which makes 99% of VITA games compatible (camera and gyro functions are another issue).  And I really don't do much portable so most any VITA game is going to look geat on a big screen.  Does anyone else have a PSTV?

I have one and while I like it I barely use it. I vastly prefer gaming on a handheld so playing on the big screen isn't a big deal to me.

PlayStation Vita Japanese Software Sales (Media Create Physical/ Famitsu Digital)

Yes I have one, and no I do not enjoy it, if I have to hack something to make it more useful than the device is not really that good to begin with.

Yeah, I have one and love it, played Nidhoog, God Eater and Grim Fandango on it and currently playing freedom wars.

It sucked when I first bought a year ago for $20.....got power line adapters to help the unfixable lag....it's gotten alot better and I can play division from work....the psplus vita games are kinda whatever but a nice throw in

I do have it, I do enjoy it. Some times I use it to remote play my ps4 to another screen. Most of the times I use it to put my vita games on a larger screen. Disgaea 3, 4, Dangan 1, and 2 were all great on the TV. Oh and ultra despair felt better with a ps4 controller on my screen - than on the vita.

I'd love for Nintendo to do the same thing. Some games just get annoying on a small screen, and cramp controls.

Can you power a PSTV on and off with a PS4 controller?

Yes I have one, I enjoyed Persona4 on it a lot and since it was only 40 euro when I bought it I can say it was worth the money, I play most games on my PSVita but with the long-sitting games I will use it, I also played some Killzone Mercenary multiplayer on it, which was excellent.

Overall I do feel like the normal PSVita experience it better, tough

I enjoyed it. Playing Killzone merc and Persona 4 on the big screen and loving it.

The only real downfall for me about the PSTV is no Netflix app.

No, at home I have better systems with a lot of great games.
I play handheld games, when I'm not at home.

The Vita is my favorite mobile/portable device, but at home the games on PS3/WiiU/XBO/PS4/PC are more appealing.

Yes. You get the option of standbye, and power off.

With a Dual Shock 3 I can access a menu which will allow me to use standby or power off.  But can you actually turn it on or take it out of stand by mode with a Dual Shock 4?
