If the PS4.5 is true, how much you wanna bet SE determined September 30th for the release of FFXV based on this info? They were probably considering a later date but are having to push forward with this situation.

The main reason consle gamers are console gamers because it used to be is easier to play then with a PC, i.e. plug and play.

Underlined - That is no different than PC gamers lol. All depends hwo much you want to spend on the game. If anything the biggest issue is your internet connection that will determine the advantages.

And yet you want to go to PC - where that has been happening for a long time now? CPU, GPU, ram, monitor - Cross fire, sli etc.

That is like jumping from the frying pan - to the depths of hell.

 That's a fair statement, I'm not happy about going back into hell, but if I'm going to be forced into disparity I'd rather have a Vive than a PSVR. I'd rather return to PC gaming than this half baked 3 year console upgrade cycle.

 I hope developers refuse to support this fractured base junk and people's ps4k purchase becomes mostly a waste gaming wise.

The ps4 already isn't 400 dollars so thats a $50 dollar difference. It would be odd if the "older one" doesn't get a discount so that would probably be another $50.

So that is a $100 dollar difference, and you could easily bundle it with games to make that difference even larger.

You're right! I bought my PS4 for 399 so I assumed it'd be the price for a while. A quick google search and it's $299, without the discount...holy crap. That went down fast.

 Absolutely , if you were playing via SD vs HD you were at a huge disadvantage, but that was your display not the console.

 This is disparity within the device itself, not an external source. I had a huge advantage playing with a wicked surround sound system too, but EVERYONE withthe console could take advantage of that.

 This is more like ps4 = stereo output only, ps4k = surround sound. Your device is crippled vs the new model.

So when the PS4 does it is is a "Fractured base jank"and you hope people refuse to support it. Yet you want to move to the PC market where it is 1000's of times worse?

Why aren't you mad at the PC for doing this? Why aren't they a fractured base junk for the PC? Why aren't you saying you don't want the developers to refuse to support the PC?

This seems more like something you want to complain about, than something you are actually upset about.

I don't get it, are you saying it's better if PC just had one brand for monitors, keyboards, GPU's, CPU's, mobos, anything PC hardware related?, do you think it;s objectively better if there is far less choiuce for different hardware and brands and better to go from being open to a closed platform?.

I think he's saying it's weird to be pissed at Sony for doing a mild version of something that is a staple of the PC gaming space, and then saying he's going to go to PC gaming over it.
