"Greater good prevails: Religious freedom > gay rights." may be one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.

Also how are they going to enforce this? Bouncers at every bathroom checking birth certificates?

Are girls actually going to be ok with "men" in their bathrooms? I'd certainly be bothered by having a girl in the bathroom doing her makeup while I pee in a urinal.

It would be enforced the same way it's been done for decades I would assume if a business owner is upset with what he see's he can call the authority. Just like any crime there are no active cops on the scene waiting.

It's a sticky issue, but what about this scenario? What about perverts that want to claim they are transgender so they can peek over the stall and watch your girlfriend or daughter pee? I assume by the way most of you are talking that you are ok with that since you think it is ok for anyone to identify any way they want sexually and use whatever facilities they see fit regardless of their current ... plumbing

Edit: BTW what I am saying is that this issue is going to make it very easy for perverts, used to be if you saw a man walk into the girls restroom you knew immediately there was an issue, now not so much and you have to wait until the damage is done before reacting

WTF? Why censor the name of the website? It's xHamster and it's a really nice website. Are we gonna censor the names of R rated games and movies next?

Cuz there a lot of under 18 years old in this forum

Ally McBeal had the solution all along with the unisex bathroom.

And the authority will do what? Demand their birth certificate?

I'm sure there drivers license will do.

gayrights movement is beyond outrageous. This violates the spirit of federalism and undermines the entire concept of democracy.

Nothing but a subversive stratagem to force tolerance and Marxist values.

No, people are allowed to use means like that (provided they are legal) to criticize any decision made by a government. Anything else *would* be totalitarian. What's next, should people not be allowed to criticize bills that are passed, because that "undermines a democracy?"

This is what democracy is about. Everyone can get front their opinions.

No, it perfectly embodies the concept of democracy. North Carolina made it's voice heard and passed this law, everyone else are making their voices heard and telling them their being ignorant dickholes.

You know who is an ignorant dickhole?  Those who apply mass generalizations.

Interesting to see that 'ignorant dickhole' is no longer considered flaming.

The viewpoints of politicians don't always reflect the entire state. Cool it with the generalizations, they can be just as ignorant as these lawmakers you take issue with.

Sorry, I should clarify that when I say North Carolina, I'm speaking of the specific lawmakers who passed this bill.
