I know people would like to say this poll actually says something significant, but it doesn't.

Several issues are present here. One issue is the fact that this website is not at all a randomly selected sample of gamers. Another important issue is the sample size going to be too small. The last important issue, I think, is going to be the fact that the number of people who game on each system varies. Nintendo's core fanbase has been lower than Sony's for a while now, so that in itself is going to skew the data significantly.

edit: Nothing wrong with doing this kind of polling, though.  It's still nice to see what comes up.  I just think people shouldn't jump to conclusions as they already have in this thread.

I wonder how many of those who voted 25+ for Sony actually started on Nintendo.

At first I was thinking this was obvious, but when I thought about it more... there are systems that came out before Nintendo as well.  I think for this website in particular, the number will be kind of high.
