There is a very simple reason to not feature NX at the NWC or just at the beginning of their E3 event: they still need to sell Wii U and 3DS games and consoles, and if Nintendo starts E3 with NX, anything they say about 3DS and Wii U will be completely forgotten.

You may only be interested in NX, but Nintendo still needs to make money from Wii U and 3DS until NX launches.

Now, I'm not saying that they couldn't show the trailer of a new game for an "upcoming device" at NWC, but the actual machine and its catalog won't be revealed until later in their E3 event.

When you talk about when NX will be released you expect a date, I'm talking about a time frame like "this Christmas" or "second half of the year".

Nintendo has lost its position as a huge news object, compared the the Xbox and Playstation brands they are really far behind on most coverage.

I'm not so sure a lot of sites and papers will pick up and run the story in any big way, doubly so if they present it in their somewhat awkward Nintendo Direct format. Nerds like us in here lap it up, but the interest outside is miniscule.

Nintendo does need to make money of 3DS/Wii U games but you tell me what games from both are going to even be at E3 much less the WC,besides the only big games coming to both of those systems are Zelda HD and Pokémon Sun/Moon, and out of the 2 of them Zelda was most likely delayed so that it could launch with the NX and I don't see the Wii U version take priority over the version that is coming to a new system,and Pokémon could also be a dual plat. release but if it isn't,giving what Pokémon are the possibility of it being at the WC is low and it's not like Pokémon needs to even be at E3 much less the WC to make money,all the other 3DS games and the 1 Wii U aren't exactly big project and for the 3DS ones have already release in Japan and instead of taking some of the time at the WC and the DE/conferance the could just be a part of a ND later in a year

Zelda won't be delayed again. They have already delayed it enough times and we would be very pissed off if they do it again.

Games besides Zelda and Pokemon Sun/Moon: Paper Mario: Color Splash, Tokyo Mirage Sessions # FE, Kirby , Monster Hunter Generations, Federation Force and a couple more games.

You are focusing too much on NWC when for most of us it's actually the least important aspect of E3. E3 conference/Direct > Treehouse > World Championship. Did Nintendo reveal Splatoon at NWC? No. Did they reveal Federation Force at NWC? Nope. Have they announced any game during NWC? No, they haven't. And there is no reason to do it.

I didn't say Zelda was going to be delayed again just that it was most likely delayed so that it could be released along side the NX.

Kirby lanches April 28th in the Japan and June 10th WW so before E3 and TMS floped in Japan and it might not even have a english vo and you think they will have this 2 at E3?

PMCS is not exactly a big game and again could easily be apart of a future ND,and for MHG has a MH game ever appeared in a Nintendo E3 conferance?

Well Splatoon was announced in 2014 and in that year there wasn't a WC but Blast Ball was at the WC before it was officially revealed has apart of FF and Earthbound Beggings was announced right before the WC and again they used it to promote games coming in the upcoming year(FF/SMM),that just came out(Splatoon) and just had dlc(SSB/MK8) and unless they just bring in the games they had last year and just add Pokken to the mix either the have the NX annoncement before E3 or have the WC after it.
