Bad idea to first show it at E3. Especially if Sony has a ps4k.
They really need to present it this month. And then go in depth at E3

I can't believe so many people thinks its best to show it at E3.

It's way better to show it alone. That is why Ms and sony did it. Every big tech companies now do their own event so they can have all the spotlight instead of sharing it.

That is just basic logic.

There's a rumor saying that this year's Nintendo conference/Direct (we still don't know what they'll do), will be 1 1/2 hours long.

They don't really need a bigger show. What Nintendo can do is reveal the console and a couple of its biggest games during the conference/Direct, and then make a round-up showing the rest of the games during the Treehouse Live Streams.

I hope that they'd announce it from now through May 10th but I think that they'll just keep it wraped until E3 risking other major leaks such as the one from SuperMetalDave64

Well even if that rumor is true that still leaves the possible NWC and,unless launches in 2017,Nintendo will most likely want to promote the new system and it's games

NWC can't be counted in E3 conference time, they are a separate event and last year they were about 4 Hours long...

90 minutes is plenty of time to honour Iwata and talk about upcoming 3DS and Wii U games (with special attention to Zelda), and still have +45 min to talk about NX and its games. And then there is the Treehouse streams.

And because that's not enough, there's Gamescom, TGS (for japanese third party games given that Nintendo doesn't attent it) and maybe even a couple of Directs. That's plenty of time to talk and show NX even for a 2016 launch!

They will definitely talk about NX this month and even partially reveal NX, and then full blown up revile with more infos and games at E3.
Kimishima itself said they will talk about NX at next investor meeting that will be held 27/28 April, so in worst case we will get at least some official NX infos.

Its very bad idea to talk or showed it at E3 for first time because E3 is all about big news and this year we could have new hardwares, so NX would share attention with other big news. Its much better to have some oficial NX infos or reveal before E3 because in that way NX will have whole attention of industry just for itself, and than just later go at E3 with full blown up revile with playable games, bought PS4 and XB1 done something similar.

I know that the NWC and the DE aren't counted together but I utalizing the fact that if the NWC return this year Nintendo will almost definitely use it to promote the NX and it's games
