Forums - Nintendo - Star Fox Zero previewers have been negative on the controls

People hate Skyward Swords or Splatoon, but I'd love if all dual stick WiiU games had the Splatoon setup.

And now we come to this, something new, we never like change so getting used to something different is hard.

I'll give it a go, maybe initially in co-op while letting someone fly the plane and I shoot. Then afterwards switch and try it solo.

See you soon Starf0x!

And Guard, I don't want to see you near my console

You are a wiiu hater though, you wouldnt know a good game if was sat on the end of your nose!

You are wrong he is not specifically Wii U hater, he has just very often negative opinion on almost everything. :)

NO FUCKING WAY. :O

Its disappointing if theres no regular controls option. I will probably skip it.

It sounds to me like the experience of piloting one of those small planes of Red Bull Air Racing, when you need to keep an eye on the obstacles and at the same time keep your eye on the panels.

I think it could be somewhat comparable to what Affordable Space Adventures do..... you stay most of the time looking at the main screen but in some key moments you need to switch to the small screen to make adjustments

I think all that needs to be said is Splatoon.

They use both screens? Ugh...I don't own a Wii-U, and won't be buying it obviously, but I really like this series. It looks good from the videos I've seen. Like a worthy Starfox update. I hope it turns out, but if I had my druthers, a more conventional control setup would likely be preferable to me.

Motion controls should be optional but since they are mandatory only thing players can do is get use to them.

Or just not buy the game

I wouldn't go as far as not buying it but sure that's an option.
