60fps is too low, it will give you nausea. If is not at least 75fps I won't buy. Preferable is 90fps.

I think Google is going to leave instructions for how people can make their own. Id imagine it wouldnt be too hard but getting clear plastic could be a problem xD.

It must be expensive though.

I heard they are sending upgrade instructions for the original Google Cardboard, via a sofisticated tear off the flap cover that unlocks the device true potential. It's still a gimped experience due to the FOV limitations of the Cardboard.

For the full experience we need to purchase the new Plastic model.
