I will watch this when I get home.

Fantastic graphics, not perfect but some of the most impressive visuals we've seen.
That temporal effect is interesting and is frankly better than standard 720p graphics. I think we'll be seeing more of that effect as 8th gen console push graphics.

In the last minutes of the video they talk about gameplay and say couple of times it's quite different than any other shooter. And that's the impression I get when watching these clips, it looks original enough that's for sure. Just makes me wonder those few reviews that call it basic..do they expect Remedy to change the core elements of shooter like bad guys shooting at you and you shooting them or something? I don't know if they demand the same from other games, at least I don't recall other shooting games being criticized for "basic" gunplay even though most games are like that.
Oh and those visuals and character animations 😍 oh man..
Looks great! Even in 720p, probably one of the best looking current gen games.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
"Filmic" hehe. All that aside, the game looks great for a console game. Yeh it's still 720P 'reconstructed' but it still looks awesome.

Me and Fatslob actually had a discussion about this lighting tech a few years ago before the generation started.
Nice to see some games are actually starting to make use of it.

You know there is more to games than graphics.
Quantum Break was critically panned for having problems with its gameplay and story and excessive cutscenes.

Or maybe it's because of MS/Remedy hyping up this game for 2.5+ years saying stuff like "we will radically change the way FPS games are played" "this game is big" "This is the game that will make you own a xb1" etc. Reviewers don't just randomly get these ideas.
The only thing new the game has is its time-related stuff and that doesn't really live up to the promises made by MS.
