Whether or not Animal Crossing U will even be a thing seems pretty relevant since you didn't just say the next AC game but specified a Wii U release. I mean cmon, we all know the real point of this thread. All your replies have made it blatantly obvious as if it wasn't already. That's also hypocritical of you to say since you were just debating over it, infact that's all you've been doing.

Iwata said a lot of things, he promised the Wii U would not have a post-launch drought like the 3DS had for example. That sure worked out well. Towards the end of the GameCube's lifecycle Iwata said Nintendo would introduce new accessories that would increase the life span of the GameCube (that never happened). 

Nintendo in general has said a lot of bullshit, for example they denied a report from Nikkei claiming a 3DS XL was coming ... and then announced a ... 3DS XL 3 weeks later. 

The Wii U has its Animal Crossing game. It's called Amiibo Festival. That's all there is to it. 

The point of this thread is discuss about the next Animal Crossing game for Wii U which will obviously come. So, stop that off-topic stuff and post about your wishes and hopes for next Animal Crossing for Wii U or leave this thread. Thanks.

I don't care what Nintendo did in the past. Iwata said that there are more Wii U games even after the NX has been launched and so I believe that.

I just explained how it is on topic, it's silly to talk about a game like it's a real thing without knowing if it'll ever even exist. In addition, knowing what system it's for is important for basing our expectations. I'm guessing the real reason you don't want to talk about NX anymore is because your true colors are only becoming increasingly clear the more you desperately cling to your agenda.

There won't be a Wii U Animal Crossing.

nintendo already confirmed that nx wont replace the wii u. so its a handheld or something else, no home console.

What you wrote doesn't make any sense because we are talking about new home console, not about handheld that is part of same generation like Wii U.

Nintendo also said that isnt replace for 3DS also, Nintendo also said DS isn't replaced for GBA, but reality is far more difference.

Nintendo statement:

"Because we are calling it a 'new concept', we are not thinking of this as a 'simple replacement' for the 3DS or the Wii U." 

“That being said, I can assure you we’re not building the next version of Wii or Wii U. It’s something unique and different. It’s something where we have to move away from those platforms in order to make it something that will appeal to our consumer base.”

What they basically saying here is that NX is not replacement for Wii U or 3DS like Wii U and 3DS are replacement for Wii and DS, its completely new platform and concept, and they are moving away from DS/3DS/Wii/WiiU with NX. Also Nintendo several times in statements referred to NX like a home console, not handheld.
