I added everyone that has a QR code here. Do you HAVE to have a Twitter account to post your Mii with the QR code?

It turns out that QR codes are only for sharing Miis. :/

You have to add them via Facebook or twitter. The QR code will only download the mii to your app, but it won't add it as a friend.

You also have to link your miitomo to Facebook or twitter first in order to do that.

You have to follow them on twitter and they have to follow you aswell. If that is done, you have to update your twitter information on Miitomo where you can add friends.

To be honest.. it is kinda confusing.

What? That sounds so backwards, you also need to follow them... using your Nintendo Account should be enough.

Do you also need to link your twitter/facebook to your Nintendo Account (My Nintendo) for this to work?

... guess it makes sense if it's with people you know and are already friends in Facebook or Twitter (plus it propagates faster through social media). Will see how this works out for me this Friday, no time to check it out today
