Do you have a secondary source of the reps being trained other than Ruby? s far as I can tell from what you just said, there needn't be a correlation between what Ruby said and what umegames stated in his thread regarding the reps.

Think you misread the post as the reps part wasn't from Ruby, someone else in the thread in retail was told the same thing by a rep where they were as well as on a few other boards I go to.

Yeah, I saw his post after I my comment to you =)

New rumor from the french site Gameblog, this article/video, translated by NeoGaf.

- He says he's only sharing stuff multiple sources have confirmed
- "Sure about 20 games in development" But how many will be ready at launch, or within the first year?
- Their sources are currently developing on the platform and have devkits
- "You'll be able to verify these leaks very soon" but not aware of the actual reveal date -I'm hoping for Oct 25th
- Nintendo hasn't shared all of the NX "gimmicks" with their dev yet -This we've heard before
- Hybrid confirmed but not the only "surprise" -Kinda fits well together with the comment above; not all "gimmicks" have been revealed. But is there more to it than that?
- He's been confirmed there are detachable controllers -Confirms Eurogamers leak and several other sources
- No real dock where you plug the handheld, but a wireless 'dongle' upscaling for the TV -I think we've heard this before? But this is in direct contrast to Eurogamers leak.
- Handheld game is the same as the "docked" game -Just what I was hoping for! But haven't we heard otherwise in the last few days?
- Games look good on the handheld screen (780 - 900p), about PS4 level -PS4 levels? On a handheld? Sounds too good to be true. I guess that the home console portion of the device could produce PS4 level graphics, and that's something Emily Rogers talked about as well.
- Ports should be easy despite the different architecture -Heard before
- Very positive feedback on the dev tools -Heard before
- Breath of the Wild looks nicer on NX (duh) -Duh
- Smartphone connectivity maybe possible -Second time we hear this, right? I wonder what that means
- VR not out of the question but first tests aren't satisfying. -That's just a fad anyways, so who cares? PS4 will be the place for VR gaming
- Lots of remasters planned (Skyward Sword, MK8, Splatoon, Smash, N64 and Wii games) -Emily Rogers (that's her name, right?) have said similar things. Some of the ports/remasters aren't doing so good apparently
- FFXV and FFVII Remake are coming to NX -Sweet
- Platinum Games and Capcom are in -Cool
- Ubisoft in (BG&E 2 discussed but not confirmed, Splinter Cell and a Yoshi / Rabbid Rabbits crossover being discussed too) -Heard this one before as well.

Feel free to agree or disagree with this rumor.

Pretty juicy leak! If true.

Yeah tbh the PS4 level gaming is a red flag as that tells me it can't be a hybrid or handheld.

That last leak I say is false. Mostly because they say PS4 power but only with a dongle to connect. Simply not possible. I also am firmly in the camp that it's not a handheld you connect, but rather a home console you can partly take with you at times.

It's interesting reading about the Polaris revisions (linked the thread below), it's possible something like that could be behind the 3.6T claims if they're true.

Yeah, the lower power, 2.5 flop option seems more likely to me. It will give them a solid 20% power buffer on PS4, and they want to match Pro in grunt they will do it with the SCD.

Can someone please explain to me, as if talking to a 10 year old, what this latest bit actually mean? This polaris stuff...

Basically Polaris is the current family of GPUs AMD have and what's being said is that manufacturing has been improved and refined so that they can get these GPUs to perform with much lower power usage, they apparently can now get around 6Tf of performance from 95W so you can picture how low power usage 2.5-3.6Tf has. Power usage is a big issue for both home consoles and portable devices causing overheating and also draining the battery for portable devices.

This means they're viable to be used in consoles and even mobile devices, the report says the new revised GPUs are now being rolled out in the embedded market (things like motherboards and consoles etc...) so they're already available for use.

Cool, so this would be perfect for consoles, and especially HH? I read some of that thread, and this only seem to be a rumor so far? This could turn out to be bogus? All we've been hearing so far is that Nintendo will be using Nvideas tegra X1 or something like that, no?

Console yes, probably not handheld.  Seems ideal for NX tho.
