Forums - Gaming - Most disappointing game this generation for you?

Xenoblade X

Watch dog- Boring story, driving mechanics was awful, graphic downgrade.

The Order 1886: One of my most anticipated games this gen. It looked fantastic graphically and i loved the setting and characters but the story was just average and too short. I really hope that they give the IP another shot because i think it has a lot of potential.

Batman Arkham Knight: I was hyped as hell to play this game and i do think that it was a great game but it was so average compared to the previous entries and that's mainly because of the boss fights, they were terrible especially Deathstroke's. The side missions were s**t compared to Arkham City's as well. Unlike many others i actually enjoyed the batmobile, i thought it was awesome boosting through the streets of Gotham but i do agree that it shouldn't have been so prominent in the game.

Metal Gear Solid V: Great gameplay but terrible story, especially by Metal Gear standards. I couldn't admit it at first but yea this game was very underwhelming, I still really enjoyed it but i just wanted more story.

Battlefront. No single player story mode. Enough said.

Fallout 4; I actually had rather high hopes but was left sorely disappointed. The one feature that was completely new from F3 and NV was underdeveloped and horribly executed (base-building).

Destiny easily takes the cake.

Distant runner ups include Battlefield 4, Arkham Knight, and MGSV

Come to think of it you may be right. Watch dogs at least had a story, I played Destiny and still don't know what the story is about.

I just bought Arkham Knight but haven't played it, quite surprising to see many are disappointed with it. I'm expecting it to be better than City and Origins, but we'll see.

It's not better than Arkham City, but definitely better than Orgins.

Origins is underrated
