I was hard pressed to buy the Limited Edition, but that $100 price point was a bit steep. Maybe a price drop to $30 without the limited Edition goodies somewhere in the future. I've already drained my funds on other games.

Preordered this from the NISA store a few months back and got it in yesterday. Nice little limited edition and the gameplay itself looks to be solid from watching videos of it. Sadly it hits the backlog for a little while but I hope to get around to playing it sooner or later.

Congrats on the buy.  I had to pass up on this one.

Is this a full price game. Id be interested in purchasing it for the right price.

I know what you are trying to say.  It's on sale on Amazon for $60 USD while the Limited Edition is $100 USD which I believe is sold out.  Currently, It's hard for me to justify $60 for a new game in my current status.  But that's just what my life revloves around.

Which would be the right price?

20 or so dolars the production budget of this game is obviously not even close to FFXV, Uncharted, Dark Souls 3, Witcher etc. It is very hard to justify selling a game like this for the same price of those games.

It also doesn't have a sales reach nowhere near close to those games.
It still needs to make some money as everyone else.

Dont'you agree that selling the game cheaper would help ? Ppl would be more inclined to purchase it, not to mention it could skip the physical format entirely wich reduces distribution costs. Its the indies formula, if your budget isnt big and you will obviously going to have a hard time competing with the giants, sell cheap and get your profit from the amount sold rather than selling at full price and hoping ppl wont find it too expensive.

One example I just beat and platinumed Salt and Sanctuary. As much as I love the souls styles of games Id never have spent 60$ on that game. Im glad it only cost 20$ cause it was an awesome game. A lot of ppl think like me and would spend 20 on a game like this one, but never 60 (not on this day and age anymore).

That really depends.
Huge games can only afford to still be sold at $60 because they are produced and sold in masses with lower a lot of costs and provides a huge amount of income, but some other games which only appeal to specific niches are better on keeping a normal price to get the most money they can as their games will not reach a bigger marketshare even if they are cheaper, so they would only be losing money and even smal budget titles would turn to be non-profitable and thus die.

There are a whole lot of things to consider while pricing something, being cheaper is definitely not always the better option, it can be, of course, but it can also not be. In this case, I don't think a smaller price would actually attract more people, it has its niche reach, people outside of it will hardly even know or have any interest in the game/franchise, so decreasing the price would be harmfull. It could be a good idea if it had a bigger appeal and was being held of by the price, which is not the case here, IMO.

If the price is forbiding it will never have a biger reach, thats how I see the situation at least. And if you go lower price you can go full digital and dsave a lot of money, and you can self publish saving even more money.

Anyway I hope the game makes the devs money, I love my JRPGs and I hope they keep comming, even if I wont buy them all.

It's not always as simple as that especially in this case.  Companies like NIS America caters to a specific audience.  And that audience is typically a niche audience that would appreciate the artistry of games which would also include quality physical items which are sometimes includes with certain titles as limited editions.  Your typical Call of Duty fan is not going to care about some "girly" cartoon love game if you catch my drift.  And also to your point, I wouldn't pay one penny to play a AAA Call of Duty.  Not worth my time.
