Dont'you agree that selling the game cheaper would help ? Ppl would be more inclined to purchase it, not to mention it could skip the physical format entirely wich reduces distribution costs. Its the indies formula, if your budget isnt big and you will obviously going to have a hard time competing with the giants, sell cheap and get your profit from the amount sold rather than selling at full price and hoping ppl wont find it too expensive.
One example I just beat and platinumed Salt and Sanctuary. As much as I love the souls styles of games Id never have spent 60$ on that game. Im glad it only cost 20$ cause it was an awesome game. A lot of ppl think like me and would spend 20 on a game like this one, but never 60 (not on this day and age anymore).
