It also doesn't have a sales reach nowhere near close to those games.
It still needs to make some money as everyone else.

Dont'you agree that selling the game cheaper would help ? Ppl would be more inclined to purchase it, not to mention it could skip the physical format entirely wich reduces distribution costs. Its the indies formula, if your budget isnt big and you will obviously going to have a hard time competing with the giants, sell cheap and get your profit from the amount sold rather than selling at full price and hoping ppl wont find it too expensive.

One example I just beat and platinumed Salt and Sanctuary. As much as I love the souls styles of games Id never have spent 60$ on that game. Im glad it only cost 20$ cause it was an awesome game. A lot of ppl think like me and would spend 20 on a game like this one, but never 60 (not on this day and age anymore).

It's not always as simple as that especially in this case.  Companies like NIS America caters to a specific audience.  And that audience is typically a niche audience that would appreciate the artistry of games which would also include quality physical items which are sometimes includes with certain titles as limited editions.  Your typical Call of Duty fan is not going to care about some "girly" cartoon love game if you catch my drift.  And also to your point, I wouldn't pay one penny to play a AAA Call of Duty.  Not worth my time.
