Hard to say right now with all the rumors about upgradeable consoles, something i am not interested in,

We'll since we have no idea for sure what any of the Gen 9 consoles will be like, it's hard to say. But I'd probably stick with the Sony/ Nintendo combo that I chose this generation.

I might go PC only next generation and the NX will be 8th gen since it is competing with Microsoft and Sony's current platforms ...

If I do get a next gen console it will be the victor but that's a slim possibility ...

Likely an NX and although I have really loved my WiiU (retro machine - tons of VC games on it) I will not buy the NX at launch. I'll just have to wait and see. The PS4 has been getting most of my gaming time here the last couple of months so a PS5 isn't out of the question but if they go the route of incremental upgrades this gen I won't buy that system anywhere near launch either.

Always Nintendo for first/third party exclusives and Playstation for third party multiplats/exclusives.

Sony vs Microsoft is a no brainer for me every generation since i care about japanese rpg's and prefer Sony exclusives anyway.

Microsoft can only sell their consoles to me with exclusives so it's a super late at a super cheap price kind of deal IF i get their system.

I'm ditching Sony the day they go digital only tho because the only reason i pick Playstation over PC as my main multi-plats system of choice is physical media.

Hard question. If they make upgradeable consoles, i think I will wait for Xbox 2.5 or PS5.5 and see who offers best exclusives and multiplats line up. If exclusives line up will not be enough, i wil buy nx and give it a try.

NX - Cuz Nintendo
+ PS5 or XBtwo (depends on hardware, features, games)

I'm kinda leaning towards XBTwo to be honest. This gen, I went with PS4 & while it's been great, I think switching it up will keep gaming interesting. (Unless PS4 becomes so awesome that I just stay with PS)
