PS4 is getting so many good games, that havnt seen the light of day since the PS2.
Worst gen ever? not by a long shot.  Look how many RPGs we re seeing now, that where missing last gen.

Bad gen for nintendo? yes.

This is a great generation for some and a disappointment for others.

The PS5 Exists.

7th gen was amazing. People forget so fast...

The problem with comparing gens is that you see the whole picture, and while a gen may have excellent games, or even industry-changers, it gets watered down by the games that are not so good.I personally loved gen 7 too, but against the library of ps2, Nintendo 64(for me at least), SNES, PS1, and so on, it gets hard to rate it higher than those.Again, this all is my personal opinion, not facts

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

i started gaming in mid-gen 7 soooo

Then you have no frame of refrence...You bought a console that alreay had hundreds of games available and had already been updated and troubleshooted several times.

its not like i stayed in one place. ive owned consoles as far back as the 4th generation. im not inexperienced, i just dont have a cloud of nostalgia telling me all old things are good

Gen 5 is one of the worst imo. It had some great games, but most of them have aged horribly.

3DS is an absolute beast. Way better than the DS.

PS4 and XBone 1 improved in all aspects compared to last gen.

Only problem is the greed of companies. I hate amiibos, but i give a pass because they don't really make a difference. I hate incomplete games ruined by DLC and practically-needed season passes

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

For most PS1 games, graphic-wise, surely.Gamplay-wise, many games still play excellent today. Most of them are turn based, but still excellent.Nintendo 64 games I will have to disagree.Sure, they are not the eye-candy that they were back in the day, but those graphics retain such charm. In my opinion, Ocarina, Mario 64, Goldeney, and those highly aclaimed titles that launched on it are still good graphic-wise.

But I also think that comparing games as they are now isnt fair.I mean, even gen 7 will look terrible in 20 years. It should be compared by the impact it had at the time it launched, for both gens

Throw Mario Maker in that list as well

I don't think so. Nintendo is releasing so many great games this gen. I couldn't classify any of their gens as the worst, bc they are all very memorable in a good way. Only their HW sales are the worst.

About the other 2 and the big 3rd party companies. I could give you that. They're are getting more unappealing than ever. The graphic fidelity can be astonishing, but that is the only positive thing that i can see on them
