I'm disappointed with Pokken sales but after Street fighter failed to do good I'm not surprised. I read posts saying it was guaranteed 100k first week but I guess the early promise it showed on comg was misleading.

On Famitsu the ps4 is close to beating the 3DS for the YTD sales. Come on PS4 you can do it!!

I can completely understand Nintendo that they doesn't want to release games for Wii U anymore.
If even Pokemon can't do at least 100k on this platform then something is wrong.
The game would have done much better on 3DS.

Street Fighter 5, one of the famous franchises for fighting games, maybe even the most recognizable one, sold less in the first week in Japan on PS4 that has no stock problems.Like Tbone said, outside of the main series, its not because it has Pokemon stampled on it will mean instant success.All things considered, Pokken did decent to good

People need to stop acting like pokémon slapped on "" anything will automatically make it a success. Compare it to the fighting games in Japan and it did well. We should know by now besides pokémon main games, pokémon does not sell that well.(spin offs) 

But that's truth. Any spin-off with Pokemon, Dragon Quest, or Monster Hunter is guanranteed to do far better than it should.

Everything is about as expected. Kinda surprised that a cheaper re-release of Battlefield 4 does more than a re-release of Yakuza 0.

I dont recall saying 100k FW (maybe i did awhile ago?) and key difference here is one is an established franchise and the other a new ip. SFV still did bad, from a franchise point of view. it did ok in the fighting genre point of view!

Pokken shows it did decent. Its already higher than SFV, both overall will be around 80k-100k/100k-120k lifetime

No you said to someone a few weeks back it's definitely going to do 100k. Guess it badly missed your mark.  

 

OT: great performance by battlefield 4,  over 2 years after its release.  Good second week for the division and cod legs are sexy on ps4!
