Just seen it.. :)

It is very very very good.. easy 9 out of 10 .. (if I must use 0,5..  9.5)

The movie has (imo) very good acting.. story and.. just blew my mind.. (and i'm very skeptic if the plot or other things dont add up.. but in this movie.. (imo) its perfect.. If it was up to me.. best movie/director/special effects/costumes oscar (atleast nominations) would be a sure thing..

Its so "real" never seen batman like this.. just wow (and the bad guy.. wont "spoil" his name for the ones that dont know) but..wow I cant say wich is best.. him or joker from darkknight.. (ledger deserved his oscar becourse of insane proformance.. and "he" is still not that good) but his character.. best villan ever (imo)

I really enjoyed the film, I think its a solid 7/10. It had flaws but I don't think its as bad as critics/the net would have you believe.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

And is a complete unoriginal copy of episode 4 ignoring decades of filmografy.

As they say...kappa!

Great character development he says... why don't you tell me who ray is?Why was she left in that planet? Why don't you tell me wich planets/star systems were destroyed and why we should care? Why don't you tell me how Leia conveniently wasn't in one of these? Why don't you tell me why the new republic ignored this empire remnant(?) or new threat? Why dyd kylo feel so strongly the dark side to do what he did? Great character development, it all made perfect sense!

And don't get me started on "magically splitting laser beam" (i mean, i can overlook that it would take centuries to travel to the targets for the sake of urgency... but magically splitting?! WTF?!). The movie was trash. Full of plot holes and scientific abominations. I never hated on the prequals. I very much managed to enjoy them even though i hate prequals cause i know the ending. But episode 7 was pure and simply a bad movie. Ofc old timers will think... oh nice they used props instead of CGI 10/10. Ridiculous...

Rey is an orphaned scavenger who lives a solitary, lonely life who discovers she has a larger destiny by the end of the film and finds a new adopted family.

Alderaan is destroyed in the first Star Wars. Why should we care?

The prequels are just garbage cartoons, there isn't one relatable human being in three movies. TFA mimicks ANH but at least you believe these characters actually care about each other.

Why is Rey at the centre of everything and better than anyone at everything? Why did everyone suddenly become friends? I wish we had a chat room because there is no way we can go through all the flaws in this story. Poor character development, arcs, motivations on top of being a weak rehash.

It definitely isn't. I think the DCCU has a long life ahead of it.

Ok, why her and not any other person?

Alderaan was Leia's home planet.

I'm not gonna say the prequals don't have issues, but this new movie was a complete waste of time.

I love MacGruber, The Pest, and Kung Pow!, but this isn't a comedy, and when it come to a genre like this, I find more value in consensus opinion. The trailers look meh as well. Don't give a fuck. Still have yet to see Avengers 2, which was considered better than this. Gotta go take a shit.

John Leguizamo's comedy is actually pretty goddamn good.  The Pest is goofy (I liked it), but that standup he did (Freak) was extraordinary imo.

I enjoyed Freak as well. I'm a genuine fan. I gave a 2007 tv mini series called The Kill Point, a chance mostly because he was in it. I liked it. I just googled it, and it seems fairly well regarded among critics. A nice surprise. The Pest was....very special to me. :)

I think both of you are totally correct, and completely wrong. In general, I like the prequels. the second on was weak though. I have trouble deciding what the worst Star Wars movie is though. Attack Of The Clones, or The Force Awakens? I think just based purely on the perversion of well established mythos, I'll go with The Force Awakens. Gross. I gave it every opportunity to not suck as badly as it did. Gross.

That's rather ironic.  I knew exactly what you were talking about, but not due to John, it was due to Donnie Wahlberg, who played the role of Carwood Lipton in Band of Brothers, I was/am obsessed with that series, and everyone in it.   Heh, I didn't give it a chance though, I just remember somehow getting wind of it due to Wahlberg's involvement.

Rey was trained as a Jedi at a young age. She is probably Luke's daughter. Now, why can Fin roll with Kylo Ren in a lightsaber fight? After a stormtrooper outdid him? And if anyone says it's because Kylo was already hurt, I will unfriend you on facebook.

I regret never seeing BOB. I saw one episode with David Schwimmer in it. Wad as good as I'd heard. It was mid stream during a marathon on HBO, and I never followed through on my plans to watch the series. Someday hopefully.
