Forums - Gaming - Day of the Tentacle Remastered is out now... don't enter this thread go buy the game..

Why? Why did you entered this thread... now i have to make an OP:

Originally released by LucasArts in 1993 as a sequel to Ron Gilbert’s ground breaking Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle is a mind-bending, time travel, cartoon puzzle adventure game in which three unlikely friends work together to prevent an evil mutated purple tentacle from taking over the world! Now, over twenty years later, Day of the Tentacle is back in a remastered edition that features all new hand-drawn, high resolution artwork, with remastered audio, music and sound effects.

One of the best point 'n click adventures ever, I think second only to Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Would be nice to play it while getting ready for QB due to the time-travel theme, although these kind of games are not as much fun to play today as they were back in a day.

I just can't get into the Double Fine games...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

That takes me back. Reminds me of how much I liked point and click games back in the day.
There was one I liked in particular called The Legend of Kyrandia.

I love that game. Your picture is from the best game of Westwood Studios' Kyrandia trilogy, Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate.

All three Kyrandia games are available on GOG:

Hand of Fate (aka Kyrandia 2) is in my personal top 10 of point&click adventure games:
The Secret of Monkey Island / Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge / Maniac Mansion II: Day of the Tentacle / Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis / Grim Fandango / The Curse of Monkey Island / Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate / Full Throttle / The Longest Journey / Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars

OT: Pre-ordered DOTT last week, downloaded it today, will play it during the next couple of days, one of the best p&c adventure games ever made, period.

All Vita needs now is Simon the Sorcerer to be the home of the best classic PC games haha.
