Sounds like you spent a lot of money to be able to do that.

If I had a pc and an xbox I'd probably skip it on the xbox. 720p really shows in this day and age. Imagine: the original xbox from 2001 had some games running at 720p.

I'll play it in 1080p60 on my small form factor pc under the tv. What kind of pc do you have, is it dedicated in your living room or are you in home streaming from your desktop?

There is 4 titles on the PS2 with 720p (1080i) support too, but that doesn't mean that Gran Turismo 4 doesn't still look like a PS2 game just because it has a higher resolution than most games on the system, it's still night and day different to an actual powerhouse like the X1 compared to the PS2 running a 720p game with all the bells and whistles that it allows.

Assuming the PC is strong enough, i think that can be said of almost any title that someone doesn't have an explicit reason to want to play on a console (friends, etc).
Regardless, it's worth noting that while QB's IQ is arguable below the X1's general standard, it is better than what we usually associate with 720p. The high-end (for consoles at least) AA method alone ensures that. The list of X1/PS4 titles utilizing 4xMSAA is very short.

I have a strong pc, I'll only play the multiplats on it which can't hold a decent 1080p30 on PS4, if FFXV ends up 900p and the pc version isn't day 1 then thats an exception, been waiting 10 long years for that. 720p is inexcusable though and I would never, ever think about getting that version.

I actually think those old 720p games look sharp and clean because there's not many effects going on, compared to the later last gen games with many effects and filters making the game look blurrier.

Xbox One powerhouse? That's like calling a Iphone 4 a powerhouse.
The Xbox One doesn't even have GDDR5 memory, even my old 150$ videocard from 2010 had GDDR5
