Unique nature of the PC allows games to run above 720p? I didn't think it was unique to the PC, I'm sure there was something else which ran games at higher res, can't put my finger on it though!

For whatever reason I thought this game was coming out on April 15th, guess I'll have to wait a little bit on this one then. Anyway, I don't care about the resolution (60fps would of been nice though).

What is surprising is that gamers are worried about visuals of the game without actually playing it first. I bet most would be happily playing the game thinking it's 900p or something without this news 😁 how many X1 owners are actually disappointed though?

Even at 720p 30fps, the game look beautifull.

720P in 2016? My late 90's CRT monitor had a higher resolution, 1280x1024

I think people would just be happier if they were honest. The game was marketed as an xbox one exclusive for almost 3 years, and now it's 720p and they didn't tell anyone and said it's be 900/1080p.

People wouldve cared and bitched about it being 720p regardless but not as much as now when we only found out because of digital foundry.

Keeping it exclusive doesn't make any sense, games sell more on PC then XB1 anyways.

Not to mention M$ gets 59.99$ for each sale, not 30$ or less for a physical copy of Quantum Break.

Jesus just took a look at some gameplay vids of that, the lighting effects on the ice stages look amazing actually. It sort of reminds me of what my mind remembers diddy kong racing looked like... but I dredd to actually put that cart in my N64 to see what it's like without the nostalgia fading out my memory lol.

On topic though there is mention of gamers being upset at what QB looks like... I've yet to see an actual X1 fan complain about those 2 digital foundry videos and how they looked, I mean someone who actually owns the system and was intending to buy the game for it, complaining.
