Forums - Nintendo - Whoa, Factor 5 working on Kid Icarus...True?

This weeks "nintendo Voice chat" (used to be wii-k in review), a reader wrote in "Can you confirm for us that Factor 5 is NOT working on Kid Icarus, I just want this rumor squashed once and for all", the response...."Wait he wants me to confirm that factor 5 isn't working on kid icarus?" silence for a second then "Pff no, I cannot confirm that" and then before he's even done speaking bozon starts reading a different question. These guys KNOW that Kid Icarus is in development, they've mentioned it a few times before, and yet they won't deny that Factor 5 is working on it. A bit suspect...no?

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

I think its quite likely. I also have a gut feeling its gonna be a WiiWare title.

Manchester United 2008-09 Season - Trophies & Records

Barclays Premier League 2008-09: 1st // UEFA Champions League 2008-09: Finals (Yet To Play) // FIFA Club World Cup: Winners // UEFA Super Cup: Runners-up // FA Cup: Semi-Finals // League (Carling) Cup: Winners // FA (Charity) Community Shield: Winners
Records: First British Team To Win FIFA Club World Cup, New Record for No. Of Consecutive Clean Sheets In Premier League, New English & British League Records for Minutes Without Conceding, New Record For Going Undeafeated In Champions League (25 games ongoing), First British Team To Beat FC Porto In Portugal, First Club To Defeat Arsenal At The Emirates In European Competition, First Team In English League Football History To Win 3 Titles Back To Back On Two Seperate Ocassions

Maybe they don't know WHO is developing it, but know it is in development.

I think its quite likely too, but Bozon and Casamara love to stir up rumors so every thing they say should be taken a bit lightly.

I heard this rumor in various forums, maybe is true.

I'd rather Factor 5 do Rogue Squadron 4 right now.

Incorrect, later in the podcast somebody asks "have you seen the new kid icarus in action, and is the developer a good developer?" They said "no we haven't seen it running, and yes it's a high profile developer working on it.", so they definately know who is working on it.

i'd rather Kid Icarus not be able to rapid fire arrows like an Xwings lazers... while he flies around and ties giant monsters legs together.

Interesting if true, also, I seriously doubt Nintendo will stick a first party IP on WiiWare. They are trying to get homegrown devs to produce for it. Putting Kid Icarus on WiiWare would scare some of them away.

factor 5 would be a good match here... sounds plausible.. maybe Nintendo is really Factor 5 in the same way they did Retro... give them a old franchise not used in a while, then see how they do with it. If they own... buy them : ).
