But no, PSN is working fine for me.

Working fine,been downloading GTA5 for 2 days now.

According to the PSN Status page everything is fine.  I was playing Battlefront about an hour ago, so it was def working then.

Where do you live lol? the moon? 40gb taking 48 hours works out at around 200kbps or slightly over, what % complete is the download and is that normal?

Just check the status and it's up and running.

I live in germany and for not so long ago (let's say a few months) my maximum to download something was 225kbps and not more so yeah it is normal for some people.

Ah, I'm living in the South West of Ireland an area most people would associate with potatoes and represented in the Broken sword games as an old castle and a donkey.... But I'm on the lower end of net here which clocks in at around 13mbps giving download rates of 1.4MB/ps there is 100mb fiber available in town too I've just not gone about upgrading to it.

If you don't mind me asking is that connection you have costly/have a data cap? ours is €40 per month with no cap, the 100mb fiber here comes to around €55 per month, also no cap.

Belgium,the country where providers ask alot of money for bad service.

Only 10 percent till the download is complete but i have to w8 till next month since im nearing my downloadcapacity for this month, and i still want to be able to go on the internet.

I blame myself for being so stupid to actually buy it digitally.

no cap and I pay 45€ after they upgraded the net around here and now I have a download rate of 1.6 to more than 3MB/ps and it's a blast after having some couple of years just a downloading speed of 225kbps.
