Ill think about it when it comes to the EU sometime in 2019 with 20% of the content...

I pay $9/month for Netflix and that satisfies 95% of what I want to watch. Friend of mine has to pay $80/month for cable to get full 100%. That 5% is not worth that much to me. I doubt I'd even pay $30/month after being so use to paying so little for so long.

Nah, I would have to trade cable for upgrade to pricier uncapped internet and get the various subscriptions to different networks. Plus we get a discount for cable/internet/phone/mobile package. That includes a DVR, time shifted channels, equipment replacement, video on demand in case you still miss something through tv or over internet.

Currently we pay the equivalent of US $54 a month (after discounts, before tax) for digital VIP including the HDPVR rental. Cancel cable for uncapped internet would cost an extra US $16 a month already, leaves $38 a month to subscribe to internet tv services and we would have to buy a dvr or stick to on demand.

I should really cancel Netflix as we never watch it anymore. It's just that we're still on the old price that I haven't quit it yet.

i probably will once when i move out of my parents house and get my own place.

I dropped television service (last I think was directTV) back in 2008 or 2009 - cant remember.

Been streaming/downloading from various sites - tvlinks, youtube, hulu, etc for all my tv show and anime needs.

I dont watch sports so thats not a issue for me. News I just go to different websites.

As for Playstation Vue - no plans of getting it.

Ditto for me, never saw a need for Sky or other cable services years back and I'm pretty content with streaming/buying some DVD's for my entertainment needs. Got no need for Vue and I don't see it taking over the entire TV industry.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Never even heard of it honestly, but that's probably because I pay 0 attention to any TV things unless it's Netflix or YouTube.

i hate dealing with satellite and cable companies, i cut the cord 6 years ago. This is a better option if you don't need the local sports, but i'm still not gonna get it. The thing is the reason so many people are keeping cable is because of those sports channels, and this doesn't change that.
I'm good with my antenna i get around 20 channels for free.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

If I had cable/sat I would in a heartbeat.

Pricing wise it doesn't beat my cable/internet package.
