So do my folks, but they are paying $277 a month. All of those fees for box rental, DVR, Modem rental, etc. start adding up quick. With Vue, they will be down to phone and internet for $90 a month, and Vue on the same 4 TV's they currently have DVR on for $44.99 a month, and that's gonna save them over $100, basically knocking their bill in half. If they would drop phone since they both have smartphones they could be in at $65 + $45 = $110. Basically they can save almost $2000 a year switching to Vue.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

If they ever get our local sports network I'm sure my dad would consider switching over.
Honestly, Vue is too good of a deal not too. Especially if you have more than one cable box.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
Not me. Sometimes the TV is just on for random shows and a lot of news lately. I'm not even sure how Vue works.

In my country the Xbox One is getting all free view channels direct to it Live with recording. FREE. I have Netflix and Now TV for everything else. Works out much cheaper than Vue with more choice.
I would love to, but it would need to get more local channels first before I changed
I have a year left on my cable contact, so not until at least then. Even so it is not a promise from me. I will see how it evolves and compare what I read about the service to what I have before I would make the jump.
It is not out of the question though.
I don't see Vue taking over anything. There's been better alternatives to cable for like 8 years.
I dropped out of Dish network a while ago, and I'm strongly considering trying out Vue, now that it informed me it's available to this region. Maybe I'll consider getting it, though I remember seeing the channel selection a while ago, which wasn't too enticing for me.
