Thanks? Either way, game looks great, snd its still over a month till release date comes. But of course, the DF comments with the pcmasterrace and ps4 fanboy's all declaring victory again... sigh*.

The youtube comment section is a cesspool of stupidity IMO ...

I never mentioned Uncharted 4, but now that you mention it, its multiplayer is 900p.

I know you didn't, but you are involving the PS4 in your response.
You can't take QB as just another title and 720p is ok. It's supposed to be THE power showcase of XBO up until now, just like Uncharted 4 is for PS4 now as well, and on that case, Uncharted is not a sub-1080p game as you are using as refference to compare QB being not shocking by maybe being 720p.

Uncharted 4 900p/60fps multiplayer doesn't take away its 1080p/30fps single player, also.

I don't know about Quantum Break being "THE power showcase of XBO", not saying it isn't, just that I haven't heard many claims as such. My point was simply that since we've seen plenty of sub-900p games on X1 and plenty of sub-1080p games on PS4, it's not really shocking to me any more.

And by the same token, UC4's 1080p single player doesn't take away its 900p multiplayer.

Well, the single player proves it's capable of running even better graphics than the multiplayer at 1080p... so it actually does, it proves itself by doing it.

Then why is multiplayer 900p?

'cause it's 60fps.

Exactly. PS4 can't handle those graphics at 1080p and 60fps. Hence, 900p.

You are moving goals.
From PS4 sub-1080p to sub-1080/60fps.

By that logic I can tell PS4 games are 420p if I want an Uncharted 4 with over 120fps.

It's running at 1080p/30fps on it's main game, there is no circling around it, Uncharted 4 is 1080p and a hell of graphical showcase at the same time.

I have moved no goals. The goal was sub-1080p. UC4 multiplayer is sub-1080p. Framerate doesn't change that.

Neither the fact that the actual game is 1080p.

Multiplayer is part of the "actual game".

Anyway, it's going nowhere, getting petty, and completely off-topic, better move on.

Back to Quantum Break, I still maintain that no resolution between 720p and 1080p would surprise me given past games on the platform. You'd have to go over 1080p or below 720p before I'd be shocked.

720P? Lmao

It could indeed turn out the final game isn't 720p, but I wouldn't find it remotely surprising if it was. There have been enough 720p Xbox One games, (and sub-1080p PS4 games) that it's not a shocking thing anymore.

But wasn't QB supposed to be XBOX graphical power showcase?
Uncharted 4 is not sub-1080p.

I guess you haven't heard, the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox One.

I'd argue that it's a little surprising. Is there another 720p, 30 fps game on either console?

Edit: That isn't a cross generational game.
