Boy Skirt chapter 9 was hilarious. I've never seen a battle quite like that. Some people just don't understand the heart of a girl. Er, trap.
And the winning entry ... someone need to tell Wright.

Super_Boom said: One Piece: Still worried about Jinbe...hope he's alright. It seems like either Big Mom won the fight or he found a way to escape battle altogether. I'm really doubtful he managed to talk his way out of it...something isn't right here. The woman that Capone married looks just like Lola, from the Thriller Bark arc, but according to the One Piece wiki, they're different characters. Not sure if the wiki is just playing it safe or what. They look like twins. Seeing a baby smoke a cigar made me laugh more it should. Pekoms can't be dead yet...hopefully someone saved him off screen. A Vinsmoke maybe? |
I'm positive Jinbe managed to get out of trouble without losing any of his limbs, the newspapers in a kingdom ruled by Big Mom certainly won't report that he managed to leave her crew without getting hurt, just like Tamago didn't explain to the royal guards that Pedro was once part of the Big Mom crew and managed to escape without getting harmed. The woman similar to Lola was already show something like 10/15 chapters ago and was on Capone's ship, she's confirmed to be another daughter of Big Mom which means Lola is her twin and honestly I expect for there to be even more twins that look just like Lola...
Many pointed out that the sharks that are supposed to eat Pekoms are of the same species of those Jinbe can comunicate with so I'm positive Pekoms will be saved plus, since Pekoms has the Turtle Turtle fruit I'm positive he can breath underwater !
LuckyTrouble said: Boku no Hero Academia, now that I'm caught up to 101, I gotta say, the anime easily adapted the worst part of the manga. We only saw a whiny Deku who constantly breaks himself and has no confidence, we saw a bitchy Bakugou who didn't experience any of the moments of true character development that at least partly justify his attitude, and we got very, very little action for a series that, like many like it, experiences combat conflict after combat conflict. Season two of the anime has a chance to be a lot better based on what comes after, but if they only adapt another 20 chapters, it's going to feel really disappointing and drawn out. At the least, the manga will stay a good read week by week. |
Of course with only 13 episodes they couldn't really do much otherwise the Anime would have felt rushed, season 2 will likely be far better due to the tournament, I expect them to end season 2 with the defeat of Stain, meanwhile let's wait for the first fight after training between Bakugou and Izuku, I think we'll see some light speed kick shit going on

Honestly i am fine if the second season is only 13 episodes and ends up only covering the sports arc.
I rather a shonen action anime adaption only last 12 to 25 episodes a season then take a break for about 12 weeks to 6 months while waiting for the Manga to be a bit further ahead then come back with the same number of episodes with consistently good animation. This is hell of a better then what Toei and Pierrot is doing with Naruto (ITS BEEN 2 FUCKING YEARS SINCE NARUTO ENDED AND YET SHIPPUDEN IS STILL GOING ON!!!!) and One Piece.

The one with swords: Not even going to put this one in spoilers. Really dissapointed with how this turned out. Part of me wants to entirely blame Jump for this...but looking back on this arc, Kubo probably had more lee-way than he honestly deserves. There's no freaking reason he needed to give Shunsui vs. Throw-away Sniper dude a 10 chapter battle. Same story for Mayuri and Master Hand. It's obvious that he lost interest after Aizen, and basically has just been padding ever since. Despite Jump's reputation, I honestly don't completely blame them in this case, when it's obvious that Kubo has basically been giving the bare minimum for a while now. I suppose the part where Ichigo manifested the original Zangetsu was pretty cool. That's the only good thing I can say about it. Unless the final chapter surprises me, I honestly will treat this story as having ended after the Aizen fight. Now excuse me while I go to my Angry Dome. |
Even Jump most likely cancelled Bleach ending like the blame for Bleach ending up like this goes to Kubo for having so many villains that weren't interesting except maybe their design and powers and the Japanese readers made it pretty clear that they didn't like this and had the series ranked at the bottom and caused a decline in volume sells and yet Kubo did nothing to change the direction this arc was going and yet he didn't and this suffered a lot of the same problems the Arancar arc suffered except even worse for the thousand year blood war.

It really was hilarious, my favorite part is when Ochi always gets that Kenshiro look.
Never underestimate the power of a trap, er friendship yeah that's it....friendship. But when it turned out that he was making a Gundam for Izumi, I gotta say I was pretty impressed xD

But Judah is supposed to be over 100 years old, I believe. I'm thinking there is something up with that, maybe she is the real mother of the other two or perhaps some kind of cloning is involved. She was acting different, though ... maybe it had to do with that endo-skeleton? Also, Naru is so adorable. Her chuni behavior only adds to her charm. |
That is true, I didn't consider those options. Though would that mean their blessings were inherited from their parents..? I don't really remember those details in the beginning. Maybe Judah was brainwashed? It could be a lot of things at this point.
And from Wotaku no Koi, the part where they showed his game file being deleted cracked me up~ That would happen to my copy of Kirby Superstar all the time! Something about that game just can't keep hold of the data.

With the way chapter 684 ended i could just see the final chapter picking up from there and it just being a bit of a mini celebration that they won the war but have nothing that really makes feel like a finale but this could just be me setting my expectations for the ending extremely low.

Yeah, I noticed her earlier...but for some reason I just assumed it was Lola at the time. I guess it was this look-alike all along.
Good point about the sharks...I suppose that seems obvious now :P Jinbe is missing and he's been shown to control marine life before. Good thing Capone appears to have learned from the James Bond school of villainy. I'm surprised he even shot him first.

I've complained about it a lot, but the villains in this arc have just felt so generic to me. Great designs and powers, like you said, but that's about it. They're a far cry from the Arrancar and Shinigami captains.
I'm pretty sure Kubo just lost interest after Aizen, and decided to keep the WSJ milk flowing.

I think if he ends with anything, it won't be all that satisfying. Bleach isn't getting an extended chapter for the conclusion like Naruto had, it's just going to be the standard 17-18 pages. Considering how the last chapter ended, there's almost certainly going to be some aftermath...and probably Ichigo doing his stupid, "Yeah but was the bad guy really that bad?" spiel.
Not going to rule out any ship happening, but with Ichigo's currenly level of interest, a confession in the present wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. And I don't see much value in doing a time-skip, when only the human characters will see much change. But who knows...we'll see soon enough.
