The Seven Deadly Sins 185 - Escanor is a freaking MONSTER!!! Can't wait to see what happens next. Like who is going to defeat this dude?

Fairy Tail 495 - FINALLY Gildartz has arrived! I was like what the heck where is he! How can he be M.I.A at this time!

Hajime No Ippo 1148 - This New dempsey roll has me so hype and seeing all teh work being put into it makes it so much better! I wonder who he will fight in an actual match for his comeback and will he use it during that match.

Tower of God 288 - Ba......wait does anyone here read Tower of God outside of me? If not you all should!!!

Morikawa is hyping up the new demsey roll quite a bit, needless to say I'm excited! Hopefully Ippo gets a match soon to make his comeback. Can't really imagine who his next opponent will be though.

Mangas that got cancelled, I got 2 I believe. Highschool of the Dead and Black Lagoon, they both got abruptly cancelled in the middle of their respective arcs years ago and sadly have never come back. Sales were really bad for both, the animes did decent though, but that wasn't enough to keep them going.

Also I know nobody here reads it, but Tokyo Ghoul hype!

Yeah while I think it will be amazing...he still needs more at the core as a boxer. Too many people just push him to the edge in his matches....not many where he just dominated. So yeah I think the coach will have him do all this then "seal" the dempsey roll again and have him continue to build on the basics....which he needs. Because witht his training he is doing he should be stronger AND faster by the end of it.

I can't think of anything for sure that's been cancelled but I remember hearing rumors of this and that perhaps being cancelled because they were wrapped up quickly.  Can't really think of any examples, though, beyond those vague memories.

Oh, looks like 'Boy Skirt' got an update.  It's ... interesting, though only 8 chapters are out.

The main character manages to make friends with a guy in his class.  Of course, that guy dresses and acts like a girl.  Will the main character's utter and complete confusion over this melt his brain?

I read Tokyo Ghoul.
I actually am not enjoying :re that much, the original was way more on point with things.

Though some of the new characters are really good.

Well, personally I think :re is better in every way from the original. The og series was very good, but :re takes it to a whole new level. The plot is much more complex and keeps you guessing all the time. We get to know some characters more in depth this time around like Eto and Arima. A lot of the new characters are more interesting than the old ones. Kaneki's struggles are even worse here with his "other selfs" in conflict(though this seems to be done). Not to mention, the last few chapters have been amazing.

Eiichiro Oda Knows What the Final One Piece Panel Will Be

Fuji TV announcer Daijirō Enami appeared at a Tokyo premiere event for One Piece Film Gold on Saturday and shared a tidbit from his recent interview with One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda: when Enami asked if Oda has the manga's final panel already planned out, he received an emphatic "yes."

Oda also assured him that "it's very cool."

-----

Well, that's good to know.  Also mentioned is that "the One Piece story was about 65% done."

Favorite canceled manga? Usually I don't start manga until it's somewhat established or completed, so nothing major comes to mind. I watched the Shaman King anime for a little while, which was apparently canceled right in final arc of the manga. I also read Double Arts long after it was cancelled. My answer is probably one of those I guess.

Hm...part of me was wondering if Oda would kill Luffy off in the end as another parallel to Roger. Though I suppose even if that was true, it might be cool depending on how it's done.

Anyway, I have a ton of respect for Oda's writing style. He's the easily the biggest supporter of the Chekhov's Gun trope I've seen in this medium...or hell, really any medium. It's really reassuring to know his Log Pose is pointed in the right direction.

Mentioning Hunter x Hunter as an example of a canceled series made me chuckle. It gets put on hiatus a lot, doesn't it? At this rate, I wonder if the series will ever reach an end.. xD

Ugh, and I reeeally need to read Boku No Hero.. >_< Everyone here is getting up to speed on it.

Off teh top of my head for me it would have to be The Breaker/The Breaker:New Waves.....like where it ended I was in awe like oh wow this is about to be good then gone...I was like NOOOOOOOO how the heck does this even happen?

And then Witch Hunter comes to mind....I do not know if it has been cancelled but it has not been updated since freaking March!!!!

That sounds like me and manga I picked up where it stopped somewhere exciting... and never got updated again x_x Why?! Someone needs to pick those up and continue them! I can't be left in the dark!

What the heck?! Highschool of the Dead was canceled?! I really liked that one, despite all the hentai... but it was still great! I wish they had at least finished it up. I remember I read it, but then it just... stopped. T_T

I have this theory that the ability of Roger to hear the voices of all things was a sign of the disease that killed him, in some of the recent chapters Luffy heard the voice of a certain animal, so maybe it's because he contracted said disease, in the end while Roger was far older when he ended his journey we have to think that during the story Luffy lost many years of his life...

I'm pretty sure he had the final panel in mind as soon as he started with the series.

At least that's how it goes for me, when thinking about making a story how it'll end is usually one of, if not THE first thing to come in mind.

Yup, he said many times that he knew since the beginning how the story would have ended, but it's still interesting to know that he already made the panel

My Hero Academia chapter 100

Not much happened this chapter. We got a little bit of character development for All Might with him learning how to cope with his hero retirement.

It's pretty cute how jealous Uraraka is getting towards Hatsume.
