I've started reading a Josei manga titled Liar x Liar.  I like it so far.  The art is pretty bare bones but that doesn't bother me, personally.  

The main character is a college girl who is a little nerdy.  She has a cleaning fetish and has never had a boyfriend.  She still lives with her parents and her step-brother, who is the same age.  She hasn't been close to him since they were young.  Unlike her, her step-brother has been swarmed by the opposite sex most of his life and she considers his lifestyle distasteful and bothersome.  

One day, while helping her friend move, she is convinced to try on her friend's old school uniform, which is cuter than the one she wore.  Her friend fixes up her hair and make-up, then sends her off to walk around.  Of course, she bumps into her step-brother.  She manages to convince him that she is someone else but, amazingly, it seems that he wants to go out with her alter-ego.

That's when she decides to teach him a lesson concerning his amorous ways.  

The thing that has my interest, really, is that the main character is clearly in the wrong and only getting herself deeper with every lie.  She keeps going a little further each time, always with the idea that she'll tell him the truth soon.  Eventually, she has to lie to other people, as well, including a guy who seems interested in the real her.

I'm on chapter 8 and I see 51 translated.

Its been aaaaaages since I last posted here! But I just want to ask if anyone here likes reading NTR mangas? (Not hentai)

Recently I've been craving for stories like the guy cheats on his wife or gf and vice versa. Its like bittersweet. I feel sorry for the wife, but the story is soooo interesting that you need to see if they will come back together or not.

(And sometimes I even ship with the husband to the girl he had an affair on......... IM CRAZY!) XD

Oh man...that ending. Souma's dad and Erina's grandpa join the fight!

This feels kind of rushed right now, with Azami just so happening to be there just in time. Regardless, Souma giving Erina that shoulder pat was cute. Curious how this will play out for sure. I guess the good guys are set up for a surprise victory right now...unless everyone loses and comes back?  

One Piece: New callbacks!

So...Lola also fled from a political marriage. Apparently it was one so important that it would have secured Big Mom's status as Pirate King. What does that mean exactly. Could it be that the husband was one of the Gorosei? A Tenryubito? And if it was that important...why did she choose such a fugly daughter for the marriage? Did she used to be a hottie like Pudding? Dammit One Piece and your dynamic girl appearances!  

Hero Academia: Rival Battle!

I've felt like this was coming for a while, and here it is. It'll be a fun read for sure, even if it's not exactly breaking new ground like the previous few chapters. It's interesting how analytical Bakugou can really be.

I like that it's intentionally drawing focus to how differently Deku and Bakugou drew inspiration from All Might.

"Whenever he's in trouble, he saves everyone with a smile."

"Whenever he's in trouble, he finds a way to win."  

Probably gonna focus on this difference as the manga goes on.  

Seven Deadly Sins: Backstory Arc!

Well this is interesting...even if I don't like the Elizabeth worship. It's like whenever the author wants to make a character more interesting, he just makes him/her a complete Mary Sue. I mean, seriously, give us some foreshadowing...so it doesn't feel like you're just trying to shock me every week.

Ah well, Curious to learn more about the demon/goddess rivalary.

Yeah that was dumb. But I have nothing else to say about Fairy Tail.  

I've only read NTR hentai douins...and they always leave me depressed aftewards. Sorry... 

My personal hope was for Erina to challenge Azami to a battle herself. We've only seen her cook a few times over the series so far, so seeing her in a real battle with high stakes would be awesome. 

Realistically though, since she would so be hard-pressed in a fight like that, bringing in characters on Azami's level makes more sense. Hopefully all four of the remaining rebels get to fight. I agree that making her into a damsel-in-distress would be lame. She's already been given vulnerablities since Central were introduced, and so doubling down doesn't really add anything here.

Honestly, I'm hoping Senzaemon (grandpa) gets re-instated as Headmaster, as I feel like the Central plot is wearing a bit thin. There's only so much the author can do with the pseudo-communist school before the threat feels redundant. I like the stressful challenges of the Hell trip and Fall Festival arcs more than the Central battles.

It has been a while all! I know not many here read it BUT the latest 3 issues of Hajime No Ippo released today(1161-1163) just got me so HYPE....My boy is looking great!!!

Just the person I was hoping would drop in the thread too. I started reading The Gamer a little while ago, and I'm around chapter 53 right. I've been enjoying it, seeing the main character grind, power himself up and learn new skills, some which are pretty cool and other just being funny xD. It's been a fun read, though it may take me awhile to catch up, since chapters are pretty long... But yeah, I'm liking it~

I am just glad you started reading it and are enjoying it! Yeah it is a pretty good one and his skills and RPG mindset make it funny and entertaining at teh saem time lol. Some chapters are long while others are fairly short it is weird.

My Hero Academia: Ow...the feels...

Wow...this was a really strong chapter. Bakugou wears a tough guy mask, but he's really been suffering ever since All Might lost his hero status. The author of this manga definitely handles heavy emotion well.

I wonder how far this fight will get before Eraserhead interrupts them. Will he throw them into water coolers? Heh heh.  

Shokugeki: Backstory Arc Time!

Finally, I've been curious for a while why Jouchiro left Totsuki, and what exactly happened between him and Azami. Hopefully now that we're getting Azami's backstory, we'll finally see him defeated and ousted from the story...at least for a while.

The Regimen de Cuisine sounds interesting...I wonder what the teams will be. The four rebels, Jou, and Senzaemon on one side...then six of the remaining eight Elite 10 members? Will the ousted Elite 10 members take part? Curious to see this play out.  

One Piece: PUDDING!!!

I guess it seems likely that she'll do something to throw off the wedding, or run from BIg Mom. She thought about Lola earlier, so it stands to reason that she plans to do the same thing.

Brook and Pedro kicking butt on their adventure to get the Poneglyph too. The Soul King might have been stupid and pointless in Bleach, but at least he's awesome in One Piece!

Seven Deadly Sins: Something Clever

Meliodas is so cool...no bad guy can beat him no matter what. He even has a goddess for a waifu, even though he could also have any girl he wants, and also he is strong. I feel like I can pretend to be him if I read this manga.

I guess this fight will show King and Diane how to fight with a lot of power. This is..useful I guess. Now hopefully the way they get this power isn't stupid and rushed, and maybe I'll have something positive to say about this manga finally.
