I don't know if this is true, but I think it's very likely that they won't play it safe. As always, I prefer to try controllers and not judge them on first sight. I actually think that the idea is cool, but I don't know if something like that could be comfortable.

If that's real, goodbye NX. No one wants touch buttons on a home console controller. They're too easy to miss or press more than one by accident in the heat of battle. The only cool thing about it is the force feedback joysticks. Hope Sony does something like that for the PS5.

Wiimote was great, still my favourite controller of all time.

I'm not bashing them, I am simply pointing out that costly novelty controllers are generally viewed negatively by gamers these days, and certainly did Wii U no favours.
