Forums - Nintendo - Twilight Princess HD sells 670k week 1 globally

Great numbers, with Japan 1st week that's above 700k.

Around the Network

Like the Uncharted, TLOU, Halo collection it is actually kind of sad that remaster are vastly outselling current gen titles. With the rate TLOU remastered is selling I very much doubt that besides Uncharted 4 and GT any PS4 exclusive will be able to outsell it.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

That US number is ridiculous......

Shame people are taking these numbers seriously.

what do You expect in March NPD? ( retail alone or retail+digital)

So how did US FW compare to its preorders in the end??

If those numbers are true then they are very impressive.

Shouldn't be too surprised, Although Wii U has struggled, Nintendo have never had any trouble selling a decent amount of software on the system.

Too much for lazy port.

Too less for an awesome game ;)

It's quite decent yes. But this is Twilight Princess we're talking about, the original is at over 8.5m. Also, this number is still without Japan, which should put it upwards of 720k.

If these numbers aren't correct, what are the real numbers then?

I'm genuinely curious. This is certainly higher than I expected.

Exactly, Japan was 58K first week I think (2-3 days for that week) so it's close on 730K if you're counting that way.

It's probably fairly close to the million at this point if it hasn't passed it (assuming these numbers are correct).
