Sold out? Well that's good but it could just be a marketing thing too. Like not ship out that many for pre orders so everyone hears that they are already sold out so people think they are big and everyone is getting one so they want to get one too. Or it could just be that all the hardcore playstation fans are trying to make sure they get theirs day one.

You can. You go to best buy or walmart and buy it. Then you decide if you return it or not. Did it with the Ttitan Fall bundle.

Yes, it is.
Well, it all depends on your perspective. The market is very small right now and based on their price point, quality etc it is poised to do very well. The early adopters ARE there, GAF were there to snap up lots of the pre-orders, I have yet to secure mine.
PSVR is only limited by the actual potential of the market itself.

Totally agree. I feel the overall reception has been resondingly positive. Dudes at my work were talking about it when it was officially shown off, some of these guys aren't even hardcore gamers.

Yes. And any new console coming in 2016 beware. It will have power of Sonys marketing and hype.

Yes. Knowing how quickly they are selling out makes me want to pre-order as soon as Amazon puts them up in the US and maybe get an extra one from Gamestop too. The hype is REAL... 😍

It's launch could be if our own polls are anything to go by. It's long term success will depend on how much game support it has.

Outisde of the very first months with no real big apples to Japan as games, the PS4 is doing good.

All in all, it's tracking ahead the PS3 launch to date, it may be not as much as on their pick, but they are not struggling at all, performing better than last gen is a good thing, and the biggest games of this year have yet to come.

I disagree. Just because ps3 struggled even more doesn't mean ps4 is doing well in Japan. 3ds did well. Ps4 is simply doing ok, but struggling in Japan the way 3ds is struggling in Europe.
