Yeah, I have to agree with this. They've likely sold well over a million cameras by now, and likely to the most hardcore of Playstation fans. The very same group that will buy PSVR first.

Currently at 0.75 which is higher than it has been recently :-p they must be predicting that it will be in the gutter because PS4 was only $50 more. Yet now they want $150 more? My ass! I'll just tape my monitor to my face fml

It's climbing up again, it was down to 68 cents at it's lowest. $399 is CAD 533 today, plus tax CAD 602
Sucks, when the ps4 released it was CAD 399, so way more expensive than the console at launch.

The point is that the price is too high for that alone, as the camera is necessary to use it as well, so people who don't have it will also have to cash in more for the camera, I was seriously expecting a lower entry price for the base model which is this one. That's my view over it.

No - not a jab. I just know that you don't have a PS4 yet, and so, you'd obviously need both devices.

I was hoping for a $299.99 base package myself... but honestly the camera is dirt cheap at times. I've seen it on sale for as low as $25 before.
